You're going to notice that there's going to be some interesting work and you'll see red and black being into woven with each other, and this is not dragging the yarn through like tapestry crochet. This is a surface overlay. So let me take you to the sample, that's red, underneath and take the mystery right out now. So here's the exact example that we have here and what we've got is that I want you to visualize this as in rows.
So you got a red row, you get a black row in a red row and etc and you're thinking yourself, okay! Well, you got a black dragon through there. How did the black get there? That's done afterward and how did the red get into this section over here? Where this black that's done, afterward and, in fact, if you follow it, so follow this red line all the way down right to the base right. So this whole red line is added afterward. Yes, all of it. Just like you see here, this black line is added. But what you're going to eventually have here is that you're going to have mesh work.
That looks like this, so you can see that there are holes in between the work, just like you see here so what happens here is that we're going to be able to get this to go bigger and then, in the end, we're going to do some surface overlays. So we, if we surface overlay with the orange the orange, looks like that it's finishing up the orange and then it's going to look like it's dragging partially through the red and then back to orange.
So when you see it here, the mesh work was here. So I know it's hard to see what the black, but this whole line here, holed that were in it, and this was done afterward to fill it in. So the red really gives you an indication on how that's done too. So this red is dragged in so every other one that you see is the mesh work and the ones in between are the surface overlay as you go back across. So the long story short is that you're going to create the mesh. So the surface overlay has not been applied to this particular sample, but what happens when you provide the overlay, the surface overlay watches what I'm just going to demonstrate it just with a piece of string.
